Your Moon Sign and Your Nervous System

I have a message for you — straight from your birth chart. 

Your moon sign is how you regulate your emotions.

If you have a fire sign moon (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): movement is key, literally or metaphorically. Take action on something you've been putting off, go for a run, or have a dance party in your living room — whatever movement means to you is how you need to regulate your nervous system.

If you have an earth sign moon (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): get grounded. Meditate, take a walk, look up at the trees and the clouds. Focus on how you can calm and root down to return to your even-keeled self.

If you have an air sign moon (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): you need connection and curiosity. Talk with a friend, research something new, or journal it out and maybe even pull a tarot spread to pull back into logic instead of emotional reactivity. 

If you have a water sign moon (Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces): one of the best ways to do that is to return to water medicine. Think warm baths, swimming in the ocean or a pool, or a long, hot shower, or even sipping hot tea to come back to center. 

Gentle reminder there is always nuance based on the sign and the house it sits in, but this can give you some general guidance on your journey to better understand yourself through your birth chart.

So the next time you feel dysregulated, burnt out, or overwhelmed, return back to the medicine for your moon’s element!
